Description
The TBT Automatic Ring and Ball Tester allows fully automatic testing of softening point determination of asphalt binders to Australian and International Standards.
Two laser sensors detect the fall of the balls, calculating and recording the softening point of the test material.
The keypad allows for easy setup of the parameters and execution of the test. The bath temperature is measured by an electronic system maintaining the gradient (5°C/min) as specified by the standards. Provides real-time display of the temperature and time for the entire test. A magnetic stirrer ensures a uniform temperature in the bath during the complete test.
Export data to a PC via serial cable.
Supplied complete with two rings, two steel balls, two centring devices, support frame, 600ml beaker, temperature probe, printer roll, serial cable.
