Description

Specifically designed for safe and secure transport of Troxler nuclear gauges in utilities, the mounted transportation frame guards against theft, eliminates the need for ropes and straps, protects the gauge in the case of an accident and reduces radiation exposure risk.

The frame is secured to the tray with bolts and the gauge in its case is inserted in an upright position. The gauge is accessed by simply lowering the vehicle tailgate, unlocking the frame and opening the case. The gauge slides straight out. No more lifting of the gauge up and over the sides of the vehicle.

The upright position of the gauge directs any radiation emissions from the base of the gauge in a downwards direction and not sideways, as when the gauges are placed flat. Also the shutter sliding block is less likely to vibrate open due to rough road sur-face and/or weak shutter spring.
