Description:
Used for the determination of indirect tensile strength of concrete cylinders (‘Brazil” or splitting test), conforming to Test Standard AS 1012.10
Plated steel jig with self-centering specimen locators and upper load beam. The jig is placed on the lower platen of the compression tester using suitable distance pieces to adjust the vertical daylight.
Available in two sizes; the 50-C9010/A.CON for 150 x 300mm specimens, and the 50-C9010/B.CON for 100 x 200mm specimens. An adaptor is available to convert the 50-C9010/A.CON for testing 100 x 200mm specimens.
The jigs must be completed with the bearing strips to be inserted between the specimen and the load beams.
