Troxler nuclear soil moisture/density gauges utilise radioactive sources for the measurement of the moisture content and density of soils, concrete, asphalt and other road base type material. Acquisition, use, transport, storage and maintenance of nuclear gauges is regulated and controlled by legislation in all Australian States, Territories and the Commonwealth.
