Conditions include the development of an “integrated and comprehensive strategy for community engagement on its operations” and the establishment of a “community experiential centre” with displays and demonstrations about aircraft noise.

“The airport has a responsibility to be a good neighbour, mindful that its day-to-day operations impact on the lives of those living around it,” Albanese said.

“Accordingly, the government believes those residents should be consulted on decisions that will ultimately affect their quality of life.”

BAC has 50 days to make the final Master Plan public.
